We are Christiana from Lefkada, Greece and Antonio from Milan, Italy. For some years we have been looking for ways to live life differently and in Yoga we have found great inspiration and guidance. Yoga is an ancient set of practices that can help one grow in many respects. Today it is very popular but there is a strong tendency to only think of it as just another form of physical exercise or even a competitive sport.
One may be drawn to this practice because of various of its aspects such as the physical discipline (body purification, development of strength and flexibility, control over the senses, breathing techniques), the mental discipline (control over one's thought processes, concentration, meditation), the moral and ethical system (behaviours towards others, daily actions and the reasons behind them, attitudes towards self and the environment) and even spiritual (but non-religious) practices.
All of this may sound like a lot, particularly for those who approach Yoga for the first time. Luckily throughout the past couple of millennia many seekers have tirelessly worked on themselves to bring this knowledge to us in a systematized and intelligible way. Yoga can be explored and applied as an experiential science throughout our life to tap into our true potential.
We are exploring this path and would be glad to share it with you.
We both are Yoga teachers certified by the institutions mentioned below.
